"Bones and the Law"

In a slide/lecture presentation, Dr.Sauer will discuss the use of human skeletal biology in medico-legal investigations, emphasizing methods of identification and the assessment of cause of death. Whenever possible, illustrations of the use of the microscope will be highlighted.

Bio Sketch

Dr. Sauer received his PhD. in anthropology from M. S. U. in 1974 as part of his specialization in human skeletal biology, forensic anthropology, and physical anthropology. He has contributed to over 500 forensic anthropology cases in the last 25 years.
