Bio Sketch
Dr. Purohit received his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Baroda, Gujarat, India. After receiving his MS and Ph.D. degrees in materials science from the University of Delaware in 1974, he joined the staff at Argonne National Laboratory. He started the diamond synthesis program at Argonne and was instrumental in bringing Auger spectroscopy to Argonne. Currently, he is the Manager of the Codes and Standards Office and is the Director of the International Student Program.
