Fractured Patterns: Microscopical Investigation of Real Physical Evidence.

Mr. Richard Bisbing
Senior Research Microscopist
McCrone Associates
Westmont, Illinois

Friday, November 21, 1997

The forensic investigation of real physical evidence goes beyond the opinion evidence too often heard in courts today. Real evidence in the form of impressions and fragments can be seen by everyone (with the aid of a microscope) and provides convincing associations between the crime scene and criminal.
