Dr. Allen Chow, who borrowed one of Dr. McCrone's microscopes for a science fair project when he himself was a student, now graciously opens his home to SMSI members for a night of both examining and viewing through instruments that range from an 1820's Dolland to more contemporary scopes. Plan to register soon for this event as there is a limit of 25 participants.

Well, it wasn't the Smithsonian, nor the Bodleian Library, nor the Vatican;, however, it was amazingly close for a collection by one very busy local Giant. Carefully conserved when possible, one saw the best in in the history of microscopes, telescopes and a wonderful array of fossils & meteorites.
