INFORMATION ABOUT THE TOURS

The Soft and Hybrid Nanotechnology Experimental Resource (SHyNE) has partnered with the International Institute for Nanotechnology (IIN) to offer tours of the SHyNE facilities and instrumentation. Tours and demonstrations for IIN Symposium participants will be led by the SHyNE technical staff.

The tour will include a walk-though of:

• Northwestern University Atomic and Nanoscale Characterization Experimental Center (NUANCE)
• Northwestern University Micro/Nano Fabrication Facility (NUFAB)
• Integrated Molecular Structure Education and Research Center (IMSERC)
• Northwestern University Center for Atom-Probe Tomography (NUCAPT)
• XRD Facility
• Simpson Querrey Institute Cores (SQI)*
• Pritzker Nanofabrication Facility (PNF)*

Following the tour, participants will have the opportunity to further discuss the SHyNE Resource facilities, instrumentation, access, and training with Ben Myers, PhD, Director of Operations for SHyNE facilities.

*These facilities will provide a presentation/overview of capabilities
