7:00 PM: Presentation
Dr. Schichnes will be presenting some treasured microscopy images and discussing the microscope technology and struggles that went into acquiring them at the University of California Berkeley, Biological Imaging Facility.

Bio Sketch: Denise Schichnes earned her Ph.D. from UC Berkeley in 1997. Since then she has worked at the UC Berkeley Biological Imaging Facility. During this time she has consulted with and taught scientists and students from all over the world to use fluorescence microscopy.
